I'm Matthew Culnane, Head of Performance at Omne based in Woburn Sands.

This site is where I write about books, games, music, and whatever else holds my attention. I also collect links, quotes, and photos — the sort of thing that used to live on Tumblr before it lost its mind.

Previously I wrote Etcetera, a weekly newsletter of interesting links at the intersection of cities, language, food, technology, and nostalgia. It's on hiatus but the archives are on Substack. I also present Oh My Word, a podcast about following Watford FC during the 1990s.

This site is built with Next.js and Supabase. The design favours content over chrome — Source Serif for reading, IBM Plex Sans for wayfinding, and not much else.
