Oh My Word, and a newsletter update

I’ve started a limited-run podcast with my friend Michael. It’s called ‘Oh My Word’ and it appeals to the sub-sub-subset of people that support Watford football club, were around in the ’90s, and are happy to be reminded about the good, bad and occasionally ugly aspects of that part of the club’s history.

Fortunately we’ve found a decent audience already. Everyone else will find the name, music, imagery and actual discussion impenetrable, which I’m more than happy with.

We don’t intend for the podcast to run forever. Most decades consist of ten years and the 1990s was no exception. We’re doing one episode for each season plus a small handful of single-topic episodes.

I am nominally the ‘producer’ of the podcast in that I do the majority of the planning and all of the editing. This takes a lot of time so my newsletter, Etcetera, has taken a back seat over the past couple of months. But it will be back soon. Thank you to paid members for your continued support.

Oh My Word is available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Podcasts. Below is the embedded RSS feed.
